In winter, January and February are particularly chilly, with average lows around freezing point and occasional sub-zero days, while December is relatively milder. Spring arrives in March, bringing warmer temperatures that steadily increase into April and May, with the latter marking the beginning of more pronounced heatwaves. Summer months from June to August are warm to hot, with July being the hottest month on record, but temperatures rarely dip below 19C. Autumn brings a welcome respite from the heat, with temperatures gradually cooling down in October and November before winter sets back in.
